ARTICLE I
PUBLIC LIBRARY
17-101.   ESTABLISHING PUBLIC LIBRARY. Pursuant to the 
authority vested in the City Council of the City of Lisbon, North Dakota, by the vote of the electors of said City of Lisbon voting at the general election held on the 6th day of April, 1914, there is hereby established within the said City of Lisbon a Public Library and Reading Room to be known as the “Lisbon Public Library,” said Library to be under the control and supervision of a board of directors to be appointed by the Board of Education of the said City of Lisbon, according to Chapter 40-38 of the North Dakota Century Code.
