The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tim Meyer. Council Members present Sandy Hoff, LyDell Mairs, Ben Gemar Jordan Matzke and Rob Waletzko joined via Zoom. Guests present were Eric King, Lynn Kaspari – Ransom County Gazette, Janna Miller, Jon Oien, Jerry Gemar, Jeff Leadbetter, Tracy Eslinger – Moore Engineering, Fallon Kelly, Todd Anderson, Sye Olson, Shane & Jessica Radtke, Adam Schultz, Scott Smyth, Nicole Gentzkow, Ben Halstenson, Jason Enger, Greg Schwab, Marlene Dahl, Neil Olerud, Justin Fryer, Jason Kunze, Tim Huether, Josh Differding. Jo Stulz and Dylan Thomes joined via Zoom.

Discussion was held regarding County Road 6 with County Commissioners and County attorney.

Instruct Jeff Leadbetter, City attorney, along with Fallon Kelly – Ransom County attorney if necessary to establish a legal opinion on the responsibility of County Road 6. And to perform case studies to find similarities of other roads that are City/County owned. Jeff noted that the timeframe could be 2-4 months for completion.

 

Jerry Gemar updated on the 902 Forest St house condemnation. Also reported that Joe Aberle is still working on the condemned property at 602 Oak St with some improvement.

Tracy Eslinger gave updates on projects: CO2 tank, lift station upgrades, utility improvement project, well replacement.

Jerry Gemar, LV&EB representative reported on Lisbon Civic & Commerce responsibilities of Main Street flag and beautification grant process.

 

Kristina reported that the seal coat project on the airport runway will begin in August.
