ARTICLE I

CITY LIMITS

10-101.  CITY LIMITS. That all that portion of Ransom County, in the State of North Dakota, embraced within the limits and boundaries hereinafter described shall be the City by the name of “CITY OF LISBON;” and the people now inhabiting and those that shall hereafter inhabit within the limits and boundaries described and hereafter established by adding thereto regularly laid out and approved additions shall constitute and be the municipal corporation known by the name of “CITY OF LISBON,” to-wit: All of Section Eleven (11), the West Half of Section Twelve (12), the Southwest Quarter of Section One (1), the South Half of Section two (2), and the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section Two (2), all in Township One Hundred Thirty-four (134), Range Fifty-six (56), West of the Fifth Principal Meridian.

10-102.  TERRITORY AND PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS. All the territory and property situated within the boundaries aforesaid are within the corporate limits of the City of Lisbon and are subject to the laws, rules and ordinances enacted for the government of said City.

10-103.  MEANING OF NAME “CITY OF LISBON.” Whenever in these ordinances or in contracts with the said City of Lisbon, the “City of Lisbon” shall be designated, such designation shall be deemed a municipal corporation under the general laws of the State of North Dakota, for the incorporation and government of cities embracing the territory aforesaid and bounded as aforesaid.

ARTICLE II

WARDS

10-201.  WARDS AND BOUNDARIES OF SAME. The City of Lisbon shall be one ward, consisting of the entire territorial area of the City of Lisbon. (Ord 92-2) (Ord 94-2).
