July 1, 2024 Reorganization
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tim Meyer. Council Members present LyDell Mairs, Ben Gemar, Julie Cole, Rob Waletzko, Sandy Hoff and Jordan Matzke. Guests present were Jeff Leadbetter, Eric King, Jerry Gemar, Ken Williams, Lynn Kaspari – Ransom County Gazette, Janna Miller, Jon Oien and Dylan Thomes.
Mayor Meyer swore in council member, Lydell Mairs and new council members Sandy Hoff and Jordan Matzke.
MOTION – Gemar SECOND – Cole
To appoint Council Member Rob Waletzko as Council President. All Aye
MOTION- Waletzko SECOND- Cole
To appoint Council Member Ben Gemar as Council Vice President. All Aye
Mayor Meyer appointed Teresa Haecherl as the City Assessor, Jeff Leadbetter as the City Attorney, Kristina Dick as City Auditor, Moore Engineering as City Engineer and Jon Oien as City Police Chief.
Mayor Meyer announced new Committee Assignments.
