The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tim Meyer. Council Members present were Jeremy Waliser, Rob Waletzko, Julie Cole, Ken Williams, Bob Smith, and LyDell Mairs. Guests in attendances were, Janna Miller, Jerry Ramerman, Tim Jordan, Jerry Gemar, Tracy Eslinger-Moore Engineering, Benjamin Gemar, Ron Carlson, Lynn Kaspari, and Greg & Lisa Evenson.
MOTION – Mairs SECOND – Cole
To approve the minutes from March 7, 2022, meeting and March 14, 2022 Special Meeting. All Aye
Councilman LyDell Mairs reported that the Planning and Zoning Committee is meeting with Kari Breker and Island Park township on April 13th at 5 pm.
MOTION – Waliser SECOND – Smith
To forgive the water portion of the utility bill in the amount of $218.35 at 101 5th Ave E. All Aye
Ron Carlson with Highway Rollers gave an event update on the Car Show to be held on August 24th.

To approve the Police Report. All Aye

To approve the public works report. Snow removal from the past winter was discussed all council was pleased with last winter’s removals. All Aye

To approve the increase of coverage suggested by State Fire and Tornado results in the replacement cost review they conducted.

Under Mayor Communications, Mayor Meyer presented Julie Cole with her Visionary Award from North Dakota League of Cities, He also recognized Janna Miller for receiving her Innovator Award. He also reported on the Supreme court changes.

- City of Lisbon Economic Development – $5,000.00 All Aye

To approve Lisbon Business and Events Bureaus’ requests:
- North Country Trail’s Movie Request – $300
- Civic and Commerce 21 Advertising Request – $3,142.23 All Aye
Under committee reports, Mayor Meyer announced that Bonnie Mattson will be retiring, her last day is July 1st, 2023.

To approve Jerry Ramerman to hire a contract to replace lead line from the curb stop at 520 Main Street not to exceed $15,000, use Water Op miscellaneous fund. All Aye
Tracy Eslinger with Moore Engineering gave some rough estimates on couple of projects. The Lisbon Armory and Gym parking lot, River View townhomes and Wulff and Brown lots were among some of the discussion.

To approve the cost estimate of $4,500 for preliminary Engineering and cost opinion to Moore Engineering.
