Lisbon City council met this morning to discuss flood preparation – As of today, with the river level predicted to reach 19.5 feet this coming week, the stop logs closing the Highway 27 bridge will be installed tomorrow at noon. The sidewalks over both bridges, Highway 32 North and Highway 27 East will be closed due to the rising levels as well. Please be aware of heavy equipment/vehicles hauling equipment, dirt/sand, etc. Also, please continue to limit water usage where possible and drain sump pumps into the street.
