February 7th, 2022

 

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tim Meyer. Council Members present Julie Cole, Ken Williams, LyDell Mairs, Rob Waletzko, Bob Smith with Jeremy Waliser joining via zoom.  Guests in attendance, Jerry Ramerman, Tim Jordan, Lynn Kaspari-Ransom County Gazette, Ron Brewer, Kim Jacobson, Ben Gemar, Dan Wagner, Randy & Debbie Jawaski-Fatman Trash, Tracy Eslinger-Moore Engineering, Elise Meyer, Harold Rotunda, Paul Kalibabky-Waste Management.  Guest joining via zoom, Joe & Tara Greer, Jerry Gemar. Doug & Beth Langhoff and Tasha Kadrmas.

LyDell Mairs gave an update on the bids that were received on 701 Elm Street.  The Committee received two bids and they will be setting up a meeting with each of the bidders later.

 

Dan Wagner presented the City Council with a letter regarding the Federal Debt Collection Act and the water shut off policy.

 

Ben Gemar approached the City Council on the refuse service that Waste Management has been providing.  His service has been missed several times.

Harold Rotunda outside auditor reported on the 2021 Audit.
