The meeting via was called to order by Mayor Tim Meyer.  All council members were present. Guests in attendance were Jerry Ramerman, Don Eppler, Lynn Kaspari – Ransom County Gazette, Tracy Eslinger-Moore Engineering, Janna Miller, Doug Bowman, Jason Enger, Greg Evenson, and Al Michaels. Breanne Carlson, Bethany Foyt, Greg Evenson, Tim Jordan and Gwen Crawford joined via Zoom.

To approve the minutes from the June 1st, 2020, June 10th, 2020 Special Meeting and June 26th, 2020 Reorganizational meeting.                                                                                                                                                 All Aye

 

Don Eppler explained the reasons that 402 Rose St is not able to proceed with the condemnation.

 

15 Oak Street will be using the garden plot the summer of 2021, payment has been received.

To approve the onetime 25% forgiveness of the water portion for service address 1112 Ash St, total credit will be $397.41.                                                                                                                                                                                       All Aye

To approve the offer of $4,000.00 from Doug Bowman for Lot 3 Block 3 of Wulff and Brown Addition.      All Aye

To instruct Jerry Ramerman to research and get 2 quotes on concrete for the alley way between Gordy’s and the Carwash, from our pump house to 8th Ave.                                                                                                                 All Aye

 

Jerry Gemar discussed the location of the proposed Bulk Propane Tank location; no motion was made.

 

The Steering Committee presented the Strategic Plan Draft for the City of Lisbon.

To approve the final payment to Differding Construction for the 106 Prairie View Spec House, amount of $62,897.60, if the punch list was completed.                                                                                                            All Aye

To approve the selling price of $285,000 and to authorize the advertising of 106 Prairie View.                    All Aye

To approve the Armory Agreement and instruct Mayor and Auditor to sign.                                                       All Aye

Jerry Ramerman reports that Lisbon Civic and Commerce has requested to block off portions of Forest St, from the Library to Public Health on Thursday July 23,2020.

To approve the streetlight bid by Wil’s Auto body, to sandblast and repaint the streetlights.                              All Aye
